The
music of clock chimes fills the air hourly at Beacham's Clock
Co. in the high desert community of Sisters Oregon, just east
of the majestic snow-capped Cascade Range. In a two-story Victorian
styled grand hall with balcony and elegant chandeliers, on the
corner of Hood and Oak Streets, the sun shines through windows
on dozens of old clocks, new clocks and clocks handcrafted by
C.E. Beacham III.
C.E. Beacham III is one of the very few complete master clockmakers
that can design and build an entire product, from start to finish,
requiring a mastery of computer design, metal machining and
woodworking skills to make award winning clocks. As a master
Horologist, he produces about fifty clocks per year, which brings
considerable value to his clocks.
